Please make sure that the children’s coats, jumpers, cardigans, bags, hats, beakers, snacks and lunch boxes are named – everything!
Hopefully the weather will continue to get warmer, when it does, please make sure that your child has a sun hat (named!!) and sun cream applied. If you would like the staff to apply sun cream during the day please make sure that you have signed the permission slip and
provide sun cream (named!). We do not have sun cream and will not share sun cream with another child unless their parent has given us permission. Please dress your child appropriately for running around, no flip flops and loose fitting shoes and preferably keep their shoulders covered. Sorry to have to mention this but we want your children to be safe in the sun.
Please can we ask that if your child is not coming into nursery for whatever the reason that you let the staff know. It is also a means of keeping tabs on the bugs going around!
Please regularly check your child’s hair and treat when necessary.
The nursery promotes healthy eating. If your child does all day at nursery, please provide a morning and an afternoon snack. Please cut grapes in half for your child. No nuts or kiwi fruit please due to allergies.
Please remember to put a cool pack in your child’s lunch box.
Please can you let Kim know, which school your child has got into. I can then contact the reception teachers from those schools and they can be invited to come and see the children at nursery, in an environment they feel safe in.
Scott the Bear has been having a lovely time going from adventure to adventure with the children. He’s on an adventure now and is looking forward to many more. If your child would like to take Scott home, on holiday or visiting Grandparents, please let the Staff know.
The nursery is collecting these; a box is at nursery.
